As an Education Programs Co-ordinator, our organization would require that you develop the structure, content and objectives of new programs for our youth and Young adults ministries and make recommendations to the Church Board. The programs you develop must be in accordance with the educational policies of Canada with special attention given to the norms, beliefs and doctrines of our church. You will evaluate our current education programs for the youth young adults and children ministries and come up with recommendations for improvement.

You will work to increase enrollment amongst the youth and youth adults in our communities as well as supervise the curriculum structure for their development. You will provide professional development, training and consultative services to our teachers and supervise our after-school program activities. You will develop the structure and content for our after-school programs, and recommend improvements to the church leadership. You will be our primary contact for all the schools in our community.

You will conduct periodic statistical analyses of our various programs, and help determine the cost and effectiveness of our education policies and programs. You will develop teaching materials and other available resources for our programs delivery. You will be in charge of monitoring the academic progress of our disabled clients or participants and administer specialized testing and assessment programs.

You will be required to deliver presentations at our workshops, conferences and Board meetings. You will work together with our finance ministry, to develop our annual financial budget.

Finally, you will ensure that our rules and regulations (including norms, beliefs and doctrines) are adhered to by all staff, youth, seniors and guests.

Education:

Master's in Educational Administration. A child development supervisor certification will be a plus

Skills Required

Excellent oral and written Communication skills with a strong presentation skill. Experience with the development of administrative structures for schools and non-profit organizations. Strong analytical skills, work ethics, problem solving ability with a positive attitude. Plan and instruct various subjects using a wide variety of teaching aids and strategies.

Establish a learning environment to meet and enhance the children's needs of emotional, intellectual, social and creative strengths. Work with staff and colleagues to provide support for the goals and models of the grade school with an excellent classroom management that results in mutual respect and effective teaching.

Assist in drafting a school policy that seeks to educate and protect students by providing a suitable environment that support student learning and achievement. Provide constructive feedback and recommendation to site managers and other leadership team members for our program improvement. An ideal candidate should be familiar with the norms, beliefs and doctrines of the Pentecostals.

Preference will be given to an individual who are willing to recognize and acknowledge the diverse background of the youth and young adults of our ministry, and give them the opportunity to harness their indigenous knowledges.

Proficiency in the use of MAC, PeopleSoft, Quick books and MS Office product.
